Calendario Shakespeare 2016 por Gaby Herbstein junto a la Fundación Romeo

El calendario 2016 inaugura un año muy importante para el teatro y la literatura ya que se conmemoran los 400 años de la muerte de William Shakespeare y Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.

La Fundación Romeo, dedicada a promover el desarrollo de las artes escénicas como medio para inclusión social, presenta el calendario 2016 «Shakespeare, el teatro te transforma», por GABY HERBSTEIN. En él, 13 celebridades son retratadas caracterizando a distintos personajes Shakespeareanos: Roberto Petinatto (Tito Andrónico), Sabrina Garciarena (Ofelia), Cristina Pérez (Lady Macbeth), Jorge Lanata (Rey Hamlet), Eugenia Suárez (Julieta), Marta Minujin (Cleopatra), Emilia Attias (Rosalinda), Gonzalo Heredia (Shakespeare), Narda Lepes (Bruja de Macbeth), Chano Charpentier (Orsino) y Agustín Pichot (Enrique V).

El calendario se presentó en la Embajada Británica de Buenos Aires en Diciembre 2015. Los fondos obtenidos por la venta del calendario se destinarán a los planes de educación y becas de estudio que lleva adelante la Fundación Romeo.

2016 is a very important year for Theatre and Literature, marking 400 years since William Shakespeare’s and Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra’s passing.

The Romeo Foundation, which promotes theatre, and specifically Shakespearean theatre as an inspirational tool to bind people, activate youth, educate and promote young talented actors, invited Gaby Herbstein to make a calendar featuring 13 celebrities posing as Shakespearean characters: Roberto Petinatto (Titus Andronicus), Sabrina Garciarena (Ofelia), Cristina Pérez (Lady Macbeth), Jorge Lanata (King Hamlet), Eugenia Suárez (Juliet), Marta Minujin (Cleopatra), Emilia Attias (Rosalinda), Gonzalo Heredia (Shakespeare), Narda Lepes (One of the witches in Macbeth), Chano Charpentier (Orsino) y Agustín Pichot (Henry V).

The calendar was presented at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Buenos Aires, in December 2015. The proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be used to fund education programmes and scholarships offered by the Foundation.
